Ronald Brooks, PhD
Dr. Brooks is an Assistant Professor and long-time member of CBAM. He is Principal Investigator of a HRSA-funded project of special significance, leading a multi-site evaluation and technical assistance project to improve patient engagement, retention and care in ten HIV care organizations across the country. He also leads the LA PrEP Stories project, recording the experiences of Black and Latino MSM to inform future PrEP implementation efforts in this community. Dr. Brooks earned his PhD in Urban Planning from UCLA and completed his postdoctoral training here in the School of Public Health.
