Uyen Kao, MPH

Ms. Kao is Executive Director of the CHIPTS grant (Center for HIV Identification, Prevention and Treatment Services). She also leads special research projects for CBAM and conducts consultations, trainings, and capacity building efforts to scientists, health departments, community planning groups, and community based organizations in the areas of program design, implementation, and evaluation. She has spent her career working in the HIV prevention field in both research and community-based settings. She completed her BS in Biology and her Master in Public Health from UCLA.
