Behavioral Medicine In Primary Care

This program provides evidence-based, short-term behavioral health services to existing patients of the UCLA Family Health Center. Our behavioral specialists are trained to treat a diverse range of diagnoses including, but not limited to addictions (drug and alcohol dependence and smoking cessation), mental health (depression, anxiety and panic disorders), and behavioral therapy (eating disorders).

CBAM is a multidisciplinary center that seeks to advance the prevention and treatment of chronic illnesses, especially in communities with health disparities. As part of the UCLA Department of Family Medicine, CBAM works at the intersection of academia and community with a focus on treating addictions and preventing the spread of HIV.
